Examples, pilot drafts, and live comparisons
Playground drafts, authored examples, and pilot drafts are stored only in your current browser tab session. They are not sent to the DecisionModelHub application server. Closing the tab clears that session. A pilot data file you load is read in your browser and is not uploaded. Example mode shows authored answers and does not contact model providers. A live comparison sends your message and the selected recipe to the model providers you choose: TypeSafe for Jev, or Cloudflare for Clef and Clef Flash. Use fictional or redacted messages. Providers process live requests under their own policies.
We do not save your comparison messages or model responses in our application database. They remain on the page until you leave or replace them. Exported files can contain your input and results; review them before sharing.
Sign-in and free usage
Sign-in uses GitHub or Google. We store your account identifier, name, email, verification status, linked provider identifiers, and server-side session records to authenticate you. Provider tokens are encrypted. Sessions expire after 24 hours and sign-out revokes the current session. Only verified accounts can run comparisons. Client-supplied identity headers never authenticate a visitor. Separate hashed identity counters enforce the free allowance.
We store a hashed user identifier with daily comparison counts, provider-call counts, and the time of the most recent attempt. Usage records expire after 30 days and are removed during subsequent comparison attempts. Aggregate service totals are retained to limit paid provider use. Attempts count toward the allowance even when a provider returns an error.
Updates and help requests
The form for result updates and help requests needs you to be signed in. We do not accept a typed address: we use the verified email address of the account you signed in with, so nobody else can sign you up. We store that address, the option you chose, your optional note, and the time you consented. We use them only to email you about that option. We do not sell or share them, and we do not add you to any other list. Sending the form again for the same option updates the existing entry.
We keep your entry until you remove it, or until we stop offering that option. While signed in you can remove an entry on the form itself, which deletes it. You can also email the contact address below to be removed or to see what we hold about you. A separate hashed account identifier counts how often the form is sent each day; these counts expire after two days and are removed the same way as usage records.
Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics measures page visits, example runs, live runs, code copies, result exports, benchmark downloads (artifact kind), pilot downloads (file kind and case-count bucket), model-profile links (fixed destination path), update or help sign-ups (chosen option only), and which kind of benchmark case filter is used, only after you accept optional analytics cookies. We do not send your messages, search text, model responses, email, or user identifier to analytics.
You can decline analytics and still use the site. Change your choice using Cookie preferences in the footer. Your browser stores your choice so we can remember it on later visits.
Service operation
Hosting and model providers may keep operational or security logs under their own policies. The application does not log comparison text or provider answers.
